Biography

Ted has over 13 years experience building and leading high performing teams in fields ranging from the US military to advanced manufacturing. His areas of expertise are product management, sales, marketing and strategy. Most recently, he was the cofounder and head of product at Aquion Energy, an advanced battery manufacturer. At Aquion, he played a pivotal role in raising over $200M in capital and building out Aquion’s global presence and strategy. Prior to Aquion, Ted was a senior associate at Hudson Clean Energy Partners where he worked on biofuels and solar investments. Before Hudson, he served as an infantry officer in the US Army including a year in Iraq leading combat missions and helping to organize the country's first free elections. 

Background

In addition to participating in the fellowship program, Ted is helping MassChallenge, the world’s largest startup accelerator expand its offering and develop sustainable funding strategies. Ted is also working with several startups in the Boston area to help them develop go to market strategies. 

Education & Recognition

Ted earned a BSc in Physics at Seattle University and an MBA from Harvard Business School with concentrations in clean technology and entrepreneurship. In 2013, he was recognized by the World Economic Forum as a Young Global Leader.
